Inspect On Delivery

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If the product or packaging is damaged, notify our support team within 5 business days of receipt. When submitting a claim through the portal, include:

  • Your order number and the email used at checkout

  • Clear photos of the damaged product

  • Photos of any damage to the shipping box or packaging, if applicable

Before You Return For Malfunction or Noise

If your reason for return is a malfunction related to the gears or clock hands (not moving, slowing down, or irregular movement), or if you hear a sound:

These resources cover the most common and easily solvable issues. Note that operating sounds from a clock mechanism can be normal and depend on the environment. Sound alone is not considered a defect. A light lubricant application can be part of proper maintenance.

If the issue persists after following the guides, proceed with a return request in the portal.

How To Request A Return

  1. Go to https://www.returnecommerce.com/return-request and follow the steps.

  2. Provide your order number and order email.

  3. Select the reason for return and upload photos.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it, unused and unworn. It must be returned in the original complete packaging, with all protective materials and any accessories included at delivery. Proof of purchase is required.

Approval And Shipping

  • Return requests are reviewed within 5 business days.

  • Once approved, we send instructions on how and where to ship your package.

  • Do not send items back before approval. Items sent without an approved return will not be accepted or refunded.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are not refunded. Exception applies for same cases and the claim is submitted within 30 days.

Refund Timing And Condition Deductions

  • After the returned item is received at our warehouse and passes inspection, refunds are issued within 15 business days.

  • To receive a full refund, the clock must arrive in the original packaging with all protective elements and accessories.

  • If the clock arrives damaged or in a non original box, deductions may apply.

  • These deductions do not apply to correctly reported returns for items that arrived damaged, malfunctioning, or defective.

  • Your bank or card provider may need extra time to post the refund.

Non Returnable Items

Gift cards are not returnable.

Two Step Process

Step 1. Return Your Current Product

  • Submit a request at https://www.returnecommerce.com/return-request.

  • The product must be unused and returned in the original complete packaging with all protective parts and accessories.

  • Return shipping is at your expense. If you prefer, we can provide a return label and deduct its cost from the refund.

  • After we receive and inspect the returned product, we issue the refund within 15 business days.

Step 2. Place A New Order

  • After your refund is processed, place a new order for the item you want.

  • For upgrades, you simply purchase the higher priced item. The price difference is covered by the new order.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item

If your item arrived damaged, defective, or the wrong product was delivered, start a request in the portal or email support@thegearsclock.com. When reported within 30 days of receipt, we will assist and provide a prepaid return label.

Change Of Mind

If you changed your mind or the item did not meet expectations:

  • Submit a request in the portal.

  • Ship the product back at your expense, or request a label from us and we will deduct its cost from your refund.

  • Once the refund is issued, place a new order for the item you prefer.

Processing Times

  • Request review can take up to 5 business days.

  • Refunds are issued within 15 business days after warehouse receipt and inspection.

  • Your bank or card provider may need extra time to post the refund.
